Pope Francis Sends Prayers to Victims of Spain Train Derail Incident

BRAZIL(CNN) - Pope Francis visited Brazil for World Youth Day.  He sent a telegram to Julian Barrio Barrio, bishop of Santiago de Compostela. He offered his condolences and prayers to the affected victims of the Spain train derail accident. The derail train accident in Spain killed a confirmed number of 80 passengers.

World Youth Day is an international event that is coordinated by the Catholic Church. The 2013 annual gathering was held in Rio de Janiero. The organization is a way for the Catholic Church to outreach to the youth in a contemporary way.
